Imperial Classical Ballet are bringing the Nutcracker to Vaillant Live

The Nutcracker tells the magical story of young Clara, who receives a Nutcracker doll on Christmas Eve. After falling asleep, she dreams of an enchanting adventure where the Nutcracker comes to life, battles the Mouse King, and transforms into a prince who takes her on a journey through the Land of Snow to the dazzling Kingdom of Sweets, filled with dancing fairies and magical celebrations. Kirsty Corbett spoke with the Producer, and owner, of Imperial Classical Ballet® about how long it takes to plan an international tour, the role of a Producer, how “The Nutcracker” resonates with multiple generations and “those comments” made by Timothee Chalet. Tickets are on sale, now, for “The Nutcracker” ballet, coming to Derby’s Vaillant Live. The show will be on 7 November 2026 and will include a full, live, orchestra and Tchaikovsky’s full score.
