28/11/2021: It is with great sadness that Erewash Sound announces the sudden passing of long-serving presenter, friend and colleague Steve Rawlings early on Monday morning 22nd November at the age of 57.
15/11/2021: We've done it again! Erewash Sound has received yet more recognition and has picked up two more business industry award but we can't reveal the good news just yet!
23/10/2021: After collecting as many as nine national Community Radio Awards in the space of four years, Erewash Sound has secured two further honours from two nominations for the 2021 ceremony which was held on 23rd October.
07/10/2021: After picking up a number of business and radio industry awards over the last five years, Erewash Sound has been declared as 'Local Radio Station of the Year 2021 (Derbyshire)' in the Media Innovator Awards 2021 with the radio station having been selected for consideration by Corporate Vision Magazine back in July.
27/09/2021: After collecting as many as nine national Community Radio Awards in the space of four years, Erewash Sound has the chance of recording continuing success after two presenters were nominated for 2021.
14/09/2021: Two radio presenters from Erewash Sound are covering the road network to and from Devon and back to the Erewash Valley this week broadcasting live from a charity bike ride event.
05/09/2021: We've been giving you the chance to win one of 15 family passes to Circus Montini which comes to West Park in Long Eaton from 8th to 12th September. Sorry - this competition has now closed as of 3rd September at 6:00pm. Entries submitted after this time were not eligible.
03/09/2021: The Friends of Bennerley Viaduct (FoBV) are launching an exciting new cycling route linking the two remaining wrought iron viaducts in the country.
29/08/2021: After delays caused by the impact of the coronavirus pandemic, and despite having already taken to the air, two Erewash Sound presenters have been awarded their Erewash Sound Academy certificates for completing a Radio Presenter Skills Course.
26/08/2021: Following the receipt of the 'Best Local Commercial Radio Station' in the East Midlands award in the Midlands Enterprise Awards 2019, Erewash Sound is in the running for another honour in the 2021 SME (Small and Medium Enterprise) Northern Enterprise Awards.
