Up to 800 extra frontline staff to join region’s ambulance service by 2028
More emergency staff and more vehicles will be put on the East Midlands’ roads courtesy of a multi-million investment from ambulance bosses. East Midlands Ambulance Service (EMAS) has managed to secure a £26 million investment to boost capacity in its service between 2026 and 2029.
