Man in hospital after collision following chase

A man has suffered serious injuries following a collision during a police pursuit. Officers had been pursuing a Volkswagen Golf which had failed to stop on the A6007 in Heanor just after 12.15pm on Tuesday 8th September. Derbyshire’s ten main councils have insisted they are in a ‘strong position’ to respond to the Government’s decision to pause sweeping Local Government Reorganisation plans for the county. Airport parking rates rise by twice the rate of inflation since 2020

Airport Parking prices have soared by as much as 188% in six years, as the overall cost of parking continues to far outpace general inflation.
