Derby shoppers have called for changes at the Market Hall after it emerged the city centre venue was running at a forecast loss of £338,000. Southbound closure for Tamworth Road traffic

Drivers using a busy route through one of Erewash’s towns face detours until December – as it becomes one-way while contractors crack on with giving Long Eaton a huge £10million revamp. Tamworth Road north of Long Eaton Station is already traffic calmed to encourage vehicles to use either Wilsthorpe Road or Fields Farm Road as through routes. Erewash MP issues statement following Ilkeston bank branch closure announcement

Erewash MP, Adam Thompson has expressed significant disappointed at Lloyds Bank’s decision to close its Ilkeston branch on November 5th 2026.
