Rolls-Royce has announced it has signed two trilateral agreements to accelerate the introduction of advanced nuclear technologies in the UK. The engineering giant has signed Memorandums of Cooperation with the United Kingdom National Nuclear Laboratory (UKNNL) and Japan Atomic Energy Agency (JAEA). Almost £400k of extra funding will be invested in intensive and targeted policing in Derbyshire to combat knife crime. Alstom shows commitment to UK supply chain with over £720m spend

Train-maker Alstom has revealed it spent more than £720 million over the past year with UK suppliers.
