Arrest made for drug and knife offences in Long Eaton

Police officers from the Long Eaton Safer Neighbourhood Team have taken action after spotting a young male on a bike who was loitering and acting suspiciously on Wilsthorpe Road. PCC secures £400k boost to strengthen the fight against knife crime in Derby

Almost £400k of extra funding will be invested in intensive and targeted policing in Derbyshire to combat knife crime. Erewash Police Officers focus on knife crime as part of Operation Sceptre

The week commencing 18th May 2026 has seen an intensification of Derbyshire Constabulary's knife crime initiative called 'Operation Sceptre', with a range of activities being carried out in and around Erewash.
