2026 Mayor begins year in office with free festival fundraiser weekend

Mayor of Erewash, Councillor Greg Maskalick has successfully held a charity Blues and Rock Fest to raise money for the homeless charity Canaan Trust, which is based in Long Eaton, and Home Start in Ilkeston. Historic windows restored at former Ockbrook School as children’s charity preserves heritage for future generations

UK children’s charity Over The Wall Camp has been bringing together the past and the future as it transforms the former Ockbrook School in Derbyshire ready to welcome children with serious illnesses and disabilities.
