The charity began in 1973 and now there are 288 schemes supporting local communities, plus, schemes in 22 countries around the world from Norway to Sri Lanka. Although Home-Start UK provides structure and research, each scheme is self-funded and responds to the need in their local community. Home-Start Erewash has been supporting local families for 27 years.
