Long Eaton Police appeal after dog attack

Police officers in Long Eaton are appealing for information after a dog was attacked in the town.

A man was walking his Brittany Spaniel along the canal path at the back of Howarth Close at around 1:00pm on Wednesday 18th February, when a medium-sized black dog bit the spaniel on its back leg, causing a serious injury.

The black dog was reportedly being walked by a women in her 30s or 40s, thought to live locally, and who was approximately 5ft tall and of slim build, wearing a stripey top.

Anyone with any information is being asked to contact Derbyshire Police via any non-emergency route quoting reference 26*103798.
