Appeal to find man in connection with shoplifting offences

Derbyshire Police officers are appealing for information to trace a man wanted in connection with a number of shop thefts across Derbyshire, including a part of Erewash.

Despite extensive enquiries, officers have been unable to locate 51-year-old Simon Spencer, who is from Nottingham but is known to travel into areas including Sawley as well as Derby and Codnor.

A photograph has been issued with the hope that someone will recognise him and be able to detail his whereabouts.

Anyone who has seen him, or has information about his whereabouts, is asked to contact Derbyshire Police using any of the methods below, quoting reference 26000157323:
