A Derbyshire mum is calling on parents to make sure their children get the flu vaccine this winter, after her son Finley endured a terrifying battle with respiratory illness. Borough Council takes delivery of thousands of bins ready for food waste collections

Erewash Borough Council officials have taken delivery of thousands of food waste bins and kitchen caddies, ready for the start of collections later this year. From 31st March 2026, councils will be required to collect food waste from all homes every week as part of new Simpler Recycling legislation.
