Millions of pounds is set to be invested in road improvements across the East Midlands. Each year there are 20,000 electrical fires in UK homes. Most are caused by electrical products through misuse, unnoticed damage, and low-quality items. A local developer has stepped in to help restore a Long Eaton landmark after submitting an application for planning permission. ALB Group purchased Bridge Mills in Derby Road, Long Eaton in 2021 with a view to transforming the three-storey, former lace factory into residential development.
