Residents of the Long Eaton area who are struggling with issues such as debt and bankruptcy are to be helped after a local charity extended coverage into the area. Citizens Advice Bureau, based in South Street, Ilkeston, has now opened an outreach office at Dovedale Primary School,
Erewash Citizens Advice Bureau is open at 62 South Street, Ilkeston, from Monday to Friday 10:00am to 2:00pm except Wednesday when the office is closed. The telephone number is 0844 499 4196.
The Ilkeston and District Astronomical Society meet regularly to discuss star gazing and developments in the space industry. Group members also take part in regular trips out to view the night sky. For more information about membership, send an e-mail to idaswmt1@aol.com.
