A petition has been launched calling on the Government to do more to help protect the ceramics industry after Denby Pottery went into administration. A record £60m investment to improve Derbyshire roads

Derbyshire County Council has invested a record £60 million in highways across the county over the past year. The investment is funding the council’s annual capital programme, including major long-term preventative maintenance designed to extend the lifespan of Derbyshire’s highways network. Two Derbyshire Constabulary call handlers have been charged with misconduct in public office, following an investigation directed by the Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC), over allegations they passed confidential information to criminals.
