Plain-clothes officers from the Long Eaton Safer Neighbourhood Policing Team have taken action after a patrol in and around the town led to suspicious activity being identified. Male arrested for recall to prison

Long Eaton Police Officers have taken action after a local man who had been released from prison under investigation, was found to be displaying poor behaviour and allegedly committing a further offence. Ryan Chapman was subsequently recalled to prison after local intelligence and knowledge from Safer Neighbourhood Team officers led to the 36-year old being found hiding in a property. Chapman was originally arrested for possession of an offensive weapon and possession of class A drugs.
