28/09/2019: Erewash Sound has been shortlisted in the annual national Community Radio Awards.
17/09/2019: Erewash Sound has been revealed as the 'Best Local Commercial Radio Station' in the East Midlands in the Midlands Enterprise Awards 2019.

17/09/2019: A group of Erewash Sound presenters who dressed as superheroes to take on a fundraising assault course challenge have raised over £300 for a borough based hospice care service.
03/09/2019: After almost a decade of delivering a truly local service to the people of the Erewash Borough, an award-winning local radio station has expressed delight after the broadcast regulator agreed to allow a second transmitter and a second frequency for Cotmanhay-based Erewash Sound to reach homes across Long Eaton and the south of the borough which currently experience poor reception of the 96.8FM service.
