Erewash Police Officers focus on knife crime as part of Operation Sceptre

The week commencing 18th May 2026 has seen an intensification of Derbyshire Constabulary's knife crime initiative called 'Operation Sceptre', with a range of activities being carried out in and around Erewash. Derbyshire Police officials have written to alert system subscribers with licensed premises or PubWatch Schemes to share information and support ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, taking place between 11th June and 19th July 2026.
