Midlands residents asked to be ‘One in a Million’ as  organ donation support falls by almost a fifth

NHS Blood and Transplant is calling on people in the Midlands to be ‘One in a Million’ by registering their decision to be an organ donor. Major repair scheme for Harrington Bridge over the River Trent

Major structural repairs to Harrington Bridge which crosses the River Trent at Sawley will start in August, as part of Derbyshire County Council’s £70 million capital programme, which is delivering safer, stronger and more resilient highways and infrastructure across the county.
