Derbyshire County Council’s Reform UK administration has confirmed it has no plans to charge visitors and motorists coming into the Peak District National Park after the Council Leader had previously suggested the possibility of an entry fee. Local voluntary organisations in Derbyshire are being encouraged to apply for grants of up to £1.000 to become smoke-free spaces as part of the county’s ambition to become smoke free by 2030. E-scooter seizures continue in Derbyshire

Derbyshire Police officers continue to seize illegal scooters on county roads, with 31 escooters confiscated in April - the equivalent of one taken off the streets every day.
