Millions in transport infrastructure investment will help unlock growth

East Midlands Chamber has welcomed an announcement of over £470m allocated by the East Midlands Combined County Authority (EMCCA) to upgrade bus services, cycle routes and repair roads across Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, Derby and Derbyshire. Chamber backs calls to shelve proposed charges on low value imports

Government proposals for import costs to be applied on low value and individual items would disproportionately impact SMEs and should be rethought, East Midlands Chamber has said, in response to findings from British Chambers of Commerce (BCC) research.
