Detectives investigating the stabbing of a man at a house in Ilkeston have issued an appeal for footage recorded around the time it happened.

A 35-year-old man was assaulted inside a property in Drummond Road, at about 6:40pm on Saturday 20th June.

He was taken to hospital to be treated for his injuries, which were not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing.

Officers investigating the incident arrested two men, aged 45 and 37, who have since been bailed pending further inquiries.

It is thought there was an altercation outside the property before the assault took place.

As a result, detectives now want to hear from witnesses or anyone with dashcam/doorbell footage in and around Drummond Road, from about 5:40pm and 7:00pm on the same date.
