Over 50,000 sign petition calling for ceramics industry support

A petition has been launched calling on the Government to do more to help protect the ceramics industry after Denby Pottery went into administration. The petition, set up by some of the historic manufacturer’s former employees, calls for energy intensive relief (known as the ‘Supercharger’ scheme) to be applied to the ceramics industry. CCTV released as part of appeal into arson attack

Derbyshire Police officials have released CCTV of a man wanted for questioning in relation to an arson attack in Ilkeston. A man walked past a property in Quarry Hill Road at about 8:00pm on Sunday 19th April, stopped, pulled a lighter out of his pocket and set fire to a tarpaulin before leaving the scene. Police appeal to find Ilkeston man wanted after criminal damage

Ilkeston Police Officers are appealing for help from the public to trace a man who is wanted for questioning in connection with an incident of criminal damage. Despite carrying out extensive inquiries, officers have been unable to trace 50-year old Dean Bryson who comes from the town.
