CCTV released as part of appeal into arson attack

Derbyshire Police officials have released CCTV of a man wanted for questioning in relation to an arson attack in Ilkeston. A man walked past a property in Quarry Hill Road at about 8:00pm on Sunday 19th April, stopped, pulled a lighter out of his pocket and set fire to a tarpaulin before leaving the scene. Funding success will improve three Derbyshire libraries, two in Erewash

Three Derbyshire libraries, two in Erewash, are to benefit from a £440,000 funding boost announced on 14th April 2026.  Derbyshire County Council has welcomed the funding which will be spent on reinvigorating and enhancing its libraries in Alfreton, Ilkeston and Long Eaton.
