Local radio diminishes further, but for Erewash?
On June 6th, locally-directed radio disappeared further as a regional radio station put an end to its breakfast show, to be replaced by one single nationwide show for England and Wales instead from 9th June, punctuated only by relevant local news, travel and weather.

Once the microphone is switched on, a presenter can lay themselves open to whatever happens in those few moments but one Erewash Sound presenter found that even a late night show isn't off peak enough to prevent him from having an unfortunate moment reported upon by local media.
