Arrest made for drug and knife offences in Long Eaton

Police officers from the Long Eaton Safer Neighbourhood Team have taken action after spotting a young male on a bike who was loitering and acting suspiciously on Wilsthorpe Road. Borough Police officers have taken action in response to reports of ongoing suspicious activity at a property in Sandiacre. Response teams were sent to Longmoor Road on Saturday 6th June 2026. 25 arrests made after a targeted operation in Erewash

Twenty-five people have been arrested after drugs, weapons and cash were taken off the streets of Erewash during a targeted operation. Focusing on drug dealing in the area, both uniformed and plain clothes officers stopped and searched 52 people and 13 vehicles – leading to nine weapons, including a knuckle duster, knives, and a baton being seized.
