A further 31 illegally used e-scooters have been seized by Police officers across the county.
More than 700 e-scooters have been removed from the streets since Derbyshire Police began their ‘seize first’ approach in November 2024.
Officers and PCSOs now seize on the first offence of riding e-scooters illegally, such as on public roads and pavements.
Inspector Lee Welsby, who leads the Derbyshire Constabulary Roads Policing Unit said: “We will continue to be proactive in addressing this issue, which we know matters to many people in our communities.
“If you’re considering buying one of these vehicles, our advice is to think again. Unless you have access to private land to use them, there’s a high chance they could be seized if used illegally in Derbyshire.”
This work is described as being just a small part of what policing teams have done across the county during February.
