An Ilkeston womnan has been issued with a Criminal Behaviour Order which will be in place for two years.
Under the jurisdiction of Southern Derbyshire Magistrates, on 19th February, Julie Hoddinott of Lord Haddon Road in the town as handed the order.
Whilst it is in place. Hoddinott must comply with specific conditions, those being that she may not remain in any retail or commercial premises when asked to leave by staff, security, police or PCSOs anywhere in Derbyshire, and, more specifically, may not enter any One Stop, One Beyond, ASDA, Heron Foods, Marks and Spencer or Tesco store nationally.
PC Watson of the Ilkeston Safer Neighbourhood Team said: “Shoplifting is not a victimless crime. These offences hurt businesses, affect peoples livelihoods and can ultimately result in shoppers having to pay more for items as prices go up as a result. We will continue to work with local retailers to identify shoplifters and take appropriate enforcement against them.”
