Police officers in Erewash have taken to social media to report having seen a rise in theft-related crime in the Long Eaton rural area, specifically including Borrowash, Breaston and Draycott. 25 arrests made after a targeted operation in Erewash

Twenty-five people have been arrested after drugs, weapons and cash were taken off the streets of Erewash during a targeted operation. Focusing on drug dealing in the area, both uniformed and plain clothes officers stopped and searched 52 people and 13 vehicles – leading to nine weapons, including a knuckle duster, knives, and a baton being seized. Police seize illegal cigarettes, tobacco and a vehicle used in crime

Police Officers from the Ilkeston Safer Neighbourhood Team seized over £4,000 worth of illegal cigarettes and tobacco and a vehicle that was used in crime. Erewash Police officers are appealing for help from the public after a burglary at a house in Breaston. The incident occurred between 5:30pm and 7:45pm on Tuesday 27th January at a house in Hawthorn Avenue.
