Two Derbyshire Constabulary call handlers have been charged with misconduct in public office, following an investigation directed by the Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC), over allegations they passed confidential information to criminals. Derbyshire Police officials have released CCTV of a man wanted for questioning in relation to an arson attack in Ilkeston. A man walked past a property in Quarry Hill Road at about 8:00pm on Sunday 19th April, stopped, pulled a lighter out of his pocket and set fire to a tarpaulin before leaving the scene. Man charged with illegally selling goods door-to-door without a licence

A man has been charged with illegally selling goods door-to-door without a licence. Roy Greasly of Brentford Drive, Mackworth in Derby, has been charged with acting as a pedlar without having obtained a certificate under the Pedlars Act 1871. The charge relates to an incident in Lord Haddon Road, Ilkeston, on Thursday 1st January. The 38-year old is due to appear before Southern Derbyshire Magistrates’ Court on Monday 30th March.

A man has been charged in connection with an attempted robbery in Long Eaton. The incident occurred at the KFC restaurant at the Cross Street Retail Park on 15th March. Thomas McEntee was arrested three days later and was subsequently charged with attempted robbery. A man has been charged after an incident of impersonating a Police Officer. Ben Holdrick was arrested on the 16th of March for a shoplifting offence the the Tesco store on Waverley Street. Police appeal to find Ilkeston man wanted after criminal damage

Ilkeston Police Officers are appealing for help from the public to trace a man who is wanted for questioning in connection with an incident of criminal damage. Despite carrying out extensive inquiries, officers have been unable to trace 50-year old Dean Bryson who comes from the town.
