A popular Nottinghamshire nature site is set for a brighter future thanks to a £200,000 investment from the Mayor of the East Midlands. £75m needed for Derby roads

A total of £75 million is needed to bring all of Derby’s roads to an “acceptable standard”, a city highways boss has said. The eight-figure sum was revealed at a Derby City Council meeting on Tuesday (July 28th), which centred on the condition of the area’s roads. Derbyshire charity receives nearly £900k from The National Lottery Community Fund

Derbyshire charity, SV2 - Supporting Victims of Sexual Violence Ltd - which supports anyone who has experienced sexual abuse, has been awarded almost £900,000 from The National Lottery Community Fund. The money will be distributed to the charity over the next five years and will be used to help cover rent, IT support, therapy and behind-the-scenes office administration.
