Owned and managed by Erewash Borough Council, this park can be found via postcode NG10 5LL.

The site has three entrances:

  • By the Royal Chippy on Hayworth Road
  • A steep slope from Hayworth Road
  • A tarmac path from Netherfield Road.

There are some great views from the park, with the chance to see up to five miles around, dependent on weather conditions.

You'll find a play area, log trail, the congo climber, a small woodland, wild flowers, seats, picnic tables and litter bins.

The Friends of Hayworth Road Park (FOHRP) welcome everyone to visit this hilltop park on a dry day. Guided tours can be arranged.

Visitors are welcome for children's activities, dog walking, kite flying, nature study, ball games and more.  Search for and visit the Friends Group page on Facebook where you'll be able to view photographs of the park and previous events.

If you would like to help run a small community event, help care for the park or would like to be shown round, please contact a committee member, David, via e-mail on fohrp @ outlook.com.
