Do YOU want to find out more about your local groups and activities for all ages in Erewash and/or want to feel more connected to YOUR community? Erewash Voluntary Action in partnership with the many fantastic Erewash groups and organisations is organising a Connecting Erewash Week from 22nd to 28th April 2024.  The initiative is part of the Erewash Voluntary Action Connect Erewash project funded by Derbyshire County Council Public Health to combat isolation and loneliness and aims to help people of all ages find out more about what is on offer in their local area and to ensure there are opportunities for people to build community connections. 
- Eventide Hall, Stanley Common
Eventide Hall in Stanley Common, have a luncheon club every Monday and Friday and have an urgent vacancy for a cook. This is a paid role, to cook the lunches at the club. Flexible ceramics classes are held at The Long Eaton Art Room, on Lime Grove every Monday from 10am to 12noon.

Flares will be making a comeback this month – as a 1970s fancy dress extravaganza is staged to coincide with the 50th birthday of the borough of Erewash and Erewash Borough Council.
Sat, 22/06/2024 - Toton Methodist Church Hall
Enjoy an evening with the Long Eaton Silver Prize Training Band, listening to classic and fun tunes like 'YMCA', 'Let's Twist Again' and 'Livin' On A Prayer' when the band performs at Toton Methodist Church Hall, Stapleford Lane (NG9 6GA) on Saturday 22nd June from 7:30pm to 10:00pm. Tickets cost £7.50 each, under 12s go free. Click here to purchase.  Doors open at 7pm.  Tickets will be available on the night but for cash payments only. The event will raise money for 'The Speech, Sign and Song Club'
