26/06/2021: Long Eaton Sea Cadets are looking for new members aged 10 to 12.  The group is involved in a varety of exciting activities including Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths and also stage water based activities such as kayaking, rowing and sailing.

22/06/2021: Coffee mornings have resumed at the Duchess Theatre in Long Eaton with doors open from 10:00am to 12noon.
22/06/2021: Based at Sawley Baptist Church on Wilne Road, Sawley Youth Club is held on Mondays from 4:00pm to 6:00pm and is open to those aged 9 to 14 years..
16/06/2021: A further seven contactless payment machines have been installed in some Erewash town centre car parks to make life easier for drivers.
15/06/2021: Specialist Derbyshire charity Safe and Sound has expanded its weekly outreach programme into parts of Erewash in a bid to raise awareness of the support available to protect more young people from child exploitation.

26/05/2021: Long Eaton now has another permanently stationed fire engine, but this one is NOT available for call-outs and there is no crew either.
