17/11/2023: Derbyshire Constabulary and The High Sheriff of Derbyshire have recognised the outstanding commitment and dedication of four Derby College Group (DCG) students who have distinguished themselves as exemplary police cadets.
17/11/2023: A Partial Closure Order has been issued by South Derbyshire Magistrates Court for a period of 3 months, on a property on Windsor Court, Long Eaton. This has been served following repeated reports of drug related anti-social behaviour.
17/11/2023: On Thursday 16th Novemeber, police officers from the Long Eaton Safer Neighbourhood Team, aided by officers from the Dog Section, Licensing officers and Task Force, carried out a Warrant on an address in Sandiacre as part of a joint operation.  The operation was also carried out with partner agencies including the Local Authority Environmental Health team. A number of items were recovered including stolen property.  A male has been interviewed concerning the items as enquiries continue.
