A new subscription service for residents wanting to continue getting their garden waste collected has seen thanks go out from Erewash Borough Council to all those who have been signing up.

As scores of drivers continue to detail observations of the number of pot holes on our roads and damage being caused to their vehicles as a result, a programme of pothole repairs and road resurfacing projects for the East Midlands, has been revealed, with the first set of roads already having been resurfaced to help make journeys safer, faster and smoother.

A spokesperson for the East Midlands Chamber has said that the imminent closure of Nottingham’s Ted Baker store on Bridlesmith Gate further reinforces the challenges faced by city centre retail and the need for investment.
