Parkinson's UK is the national support and research charity, offering ongoing support, information and friendship to local people with Parkinson's, their families and carers.  Locally, the Derby branch meets in the Broadway Baptist Church (Derby) (DE22 1BP) hall on the first Tuesday of every month between 2pm and 4pm and holds a number of activities and initiatives for members.  All are welcome to attend and free parking is available in the church car park.

If you are new, and would just like to chat on the phone or in person with one of the team, let them know - they are there to help you, your family and friends.

There are around 145,000 people in the UK who have Parkinson's, so you are not alone and the Derby branch is here to help.  There are over 200 members and it is run by a Committee of volunteers. It is funded by donations from local people and organisations and from money-raising activities.

For more information, call Karen Brown - the local group chair on 07745 678155, or e-mail enquiriesderby.parkinsons @ gmail.com
