14/01/2021: Over 80% of those aged 65 and over in England have received the flu vaccine so far this year – the highest uptake ever achieved. In the East Midlands, over 768,000 GP registered patients had their flu jab, an increase of almost 60,000 from the previous year. Last year saw more people having their flu jab over a 3-month period than they did in 6 months during the last flu season pre-pandemic.
